Downton Abbey Premiere Party!!! 

The Historic Sharpe House, 

402 S. Center St., 

will host a premiere party for season five of the popular PBS drama “Downton Abbey” on Sunday night. Keith Rhyne, 

Sharpe House site manager, will serve as "Mr. Karson," inspired by the head butler from the series, “Mr. Carson.”

 Tickets are $75 per person. 

The fundraising event will benefit the Silas Alexander Sharpe Foundation and the Historic Sharpe House. Attendees are encouraged -- but not required -- to dress in period attire. 

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with appetizers under a heated tent outdoors. 

Afterward, guests will make their way inside to one of several dining rooms decorated in a holiday theme for dinner. 

At 9 p.m., the lights will be dimmed for the premiere.

                       *All dogs must be on leash and current on all vaccinations.
